Brianna's Quick Guide

How to Get This Right

These are the same products used in Brianna's own gecko room. Here's what you need to know before you set up.

Choosing Your Enclosure Size

Juveniles and sub-adults do great in the 12x12x18. Adults β€” or geckos you want to give more climbing room β€” move up to the 16x16x24. Bioactives β€” go bigger. Crested geckos are arboreal and love vertical space.

Which Diet to Choose

Both varieties are complete, balanced diets β€” your gecko doesn't need anything else. If your gecko turns their nose up at one flavor, switch to the other. Some geckos are picky. That's normal. That's why there are two options.

How Often to Restock

A single gecko goes through roughly one pouch of diet per month. Order before you run out β€” geckos do best on a consistent feeding schedule. Bookmark this page or text Brianna when you're getting low.

Common Questions

Before You Add to Cart

What size enclosure does my gecko need?

Juveniles and sub-adults are comfortable in the 12x12x18. Once your gecko is fully grown β€” or if you just want to give them more room β€” the 16x16x24 is the upgrade. Both work.

Do I need to add anything to the enclosure?

The enclosure itself is the structure β€” you'll want to add a hide, some climbing branches, and a food and water dish. If you adopted your gecko from YetiGex, those were included with your adoption. If you need extras, text Brianna and she'll build you a custom order.

How do I prepare the gecko diet?

Just add water and stir. Mix to a smooth, ketchup-like consistency β€” not too runny, not too thick. Offer a fresh dish every 2-3 days and remove any uneaten food after 24-48 hours. That's it.

My gecko won't eat β€” what do I do?

First, don't panic. Crested geckos are notorious for going on hunger strikes, especially after a move or a change in environment. Try the other diet variety. Make sure the dish is not getting waterlogged during misting and also easy to find. Still concerned? Text Brianna.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Every order, every time. No minimum. No fine print. Free shipping is just how YetiGex does it.
