Does my gecko ship inside the enclosure?
No. Your gecko travels in a secure reptile deli cup so they cannot be bumped around or compressed by heavier items. The enclosure, food, dishes, plant, and extras are packed and shipped separately.
What happens if the weather changes?
Weather and the travel route continue to be monitored as the shipping day approaches. If conditions change, the delivery plan is updated before your gecko travels.
Staffed pickup shipments generally use a 30–90°F safe-shipping standard across the route. When a staffed location is not reasonably accessible and home delivery is used, the maximum is a stricter 82°F. Your gecko remains safely in YetiGex care until there is an appropriate travel window.
Why is a staffed FedEx pickup usually preferred?
A staffed pickup location allows your gecko to wait indoors after arriving in the morning instead of spending additional time on a local delivery vehicle or outside. YetiGex identifies the closest practical location before shipping.
What if a staffed pickup location is too far away?
If the closest practical staffed location is not reasonably accessible, YetiGex works with you on the safest available alternative, including home delivery when conditions allow.
When do geckos ship?
Live geckos ship Monday through Wednesday for Tuesday through Thursday arrival. This schedule leaves room to respond appropriately if a carrier delay or weather change occurs.
Is live arrival guaranteed?
Yes. YetiGex includes live-arrival protection and coordinates the trip around safe conditions and the agreed arrival plan.
