Welcome to YetiGex. By accessing our website, purchasing live animals, purchasing products, placing deposits, scheduling pickup or shipping, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Use
YetiGex provides live animals, supplies, care resources, and related services for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase and accept responsibility for the animal, products, and care requirements.
By using our website or purchasing from YetiGex, you agree that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
2. Live Animal Sales
All live animal sales are final.
When a live animal is purchased or a deposit is placed, that animal is removed from public availability and reserved for the customer. Because live animals cannot be restocked like ordinary retail items, and because holding an animal prevents YetiGex from offering that animal to other approved homes, payments toward live animals are considered final unless YetiGex is unable to complete the sale.
YetiGex guarantees that animals are healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of transfer or shipment. Customers are responsible for proper care, setup, temperature, humidity, feeding, monitoring, and safe handling after the animal is received.
Care guides and support are available through YetiGex, but the customer is responsible for following appropriate care standards.
3. Live Animal Holds, Cancellations & Nonrefundable Fees
If a customer cancels a live animal purchase, changes their mind, becomes unable or unwilling to receive the animal, fails to schedule pickup or shipping within a reasonable timeframe, repeatedly reschedules, no-shows, provides incomplete or inaccurate information, or otherwise prevents completion of the sale, YetiGex may retain up to 50% of the live animal purchase price as a nonrefundable live animal hold and cancellation fee.
This fee helps cover the business impact of reserving the animal, removing the animal from availability, lost sale opportunities, ongoing care, administrative time, payment processing costs, communication, and pickup or shipping coordination.
Any remaining refund, if approved, is at the discretion of YetiGex and may be reduced by fulfilled items, shipped items, shipping costs, payment processing fees, care costs, cancellation fees, or other completed portions of the order.
4. YetiGex Right to Refuse or Cancel a Sale
YetiGex reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue a sale at any time if we believe the placement is not in the best interest of the animal or cannot be completed safely and professionally.
This may include, but is not limited to:
Unsafe housing or care concerns
Inability to safely receive the animal
Failure to provide required information
Repeated scheduling issues
Missed pickup or shipping coordination
Abusive, threatening, unreasonable, or inappropriate communication
Unsafe weather or shipping conditions
Concerns about the animal’s wellbeing
Any other situation that may affect the safety of the animal or the ability to complete the transaction responsibly
If YetiGex chooses not to complete a live animal transfer, YetiGex may issue a refund according to the fulfilled and unfulfilled portions of the order. Shipped items, dry goods, enclosures, kits, supplies, shipping costs, payment processing fees, and completed services are not automatically refundable.
5. Pickup & Shipping Coordination
Live animal shipping and pickup are weather-dependent, schedule-dependent, and safety-dependent.
YetiGex will work with customers to select a safe shipping or pickup window. Live animals may only be shipped or transferred when YetiGex determines conditions are safe. This includes, but is not limited to, safe weather, safe hub temperatures, appropriate receiving availability, correct customer information, and confirmed scheduling.
Customers are responsible for being available and responsive for pickup or shipping coordination.
If a customer does not provide required scheduling information, repeatedly changes pickup or shipping plans, becomes unreachable, misses scheduled pickup, or cannot receive the animal within a reasonable timeframe, the order may be treated as a customer cancellation.
6. Shipping Risk & Live Arrival
Shipping is carrier-dependent and weather-dependent. YetiGex makes reasonable efforts to ship safely, but shipping timelines may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, hub conditions, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Live animal shipments may require pickup at an approved carrier hub. Home delivery may not be available or recommended in all circumstances.
Once an animal arrives safely or is picked up by the customer, responsibility transfers to the customer.
Any live arrival or health concerns must be reported to YetiGex within the required timeframe provided at the time of shipment or pickup. Photos, videos, temperature information, setup details, and other documentation may be required.
Failure to follow shipping instructions, pickup instructions, care instructions, or reporting requirements may void any live arrival or health guarantee.
7. Dry Goods, Enclosures, Kits & Supplies
Dry goods, enclosures, kits, food, plants, dishes, accessories, and other supplies are separate from the live animal portion of an order.
Once dry goods have shipped, that portion of the order is considered fulfilled.
Returns on non-animal products may be accepted within 14 days of delivery only if the items are unused, unopened, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Used, opened, damaged, modified, incomplete, or unsanitary items are not eligible for return.
Original shipping costs are not refundable.
8. Bundled Orders, Included Items & Free Shipping
Some orders may include both a live animal and dry goods, such as an enclosure, starter kit, food, plants, dishes, accessories, or other supplies.
If a bundled order is canceled, partially refunded, refused, returned, or otherwise not completed after dry goods have shipped, the fulfilled dry goods portion will be deducted from any refund at its regular published value or actual fulfilled value, whichever YetiGex determines is appropriate.
Bundled discounts, included items, free shipping, promotional offers, or package pricing may be reversed if the full order is not completed.
Free shipping is a promotional benefit applied to completed qualifying orders. If an order is canceled, partially refunded, returned, refused, or otherwise not completed after items have shipped, YetiGex may deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from any refund, even if shipping was originally offered as free or included in the order price.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method whenever possible.
Refunds may take several business days to appear depending on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, financing provider, or payment platform.
Payment processing fees, shipping costs, fulfilled items, completed services, live animal hold/cancellation fees, and other nonrefundable portions may be deducted from any approved refund.
YetiGex does not guarantee refunds for live animal cancellations, buyer’s remorse, scheduling failures, missed pickups, or customer inability to receive an animal.
10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact YetiGex directly regarding any order, refund, shipping, pickup, or product concern before filing a payment dispute or chargeback.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, YetiGex may provide order records, shipping records, communication records, tracking information, policy acknowledgments, and other documentation to the payment processor or financial institution.
Filing a false, misleading, or premature dispute may result in cancellation of future purchasing privileges.
11. Customer Communication
By purchasing from YetiGex, you consent to receive order-related communication by email, phone, text message, website chat, or other contact methods provided during checkout.
Order-related communication may include purchase confirmation, care information, shipping coordination, pickup scheduling, weather checks, tracking updates, refund communication, and customer support.
YetiGex may limit further communication to order-related, refund-related, or legally required communication if an order is canceled, refunded, disputed, or if communication becomes abusive, unreasonable, threatening, excessive, or inappropriate.
YetiGex may remove canceled, refunded, abusive, or unsuitable customers from promotional emails, free resource lists, giveaways, marketing campaigns, future sale opportunities, or other optional communications.
Transactional communication related to an order, refund, payment, shipment, or customer service issue may still be sent as needed.
12. Marketing Communication
By purchasing, subscribing, entering a giveaway, downloading a resource, or otherwise opting in, you may receive occasional YetiGex news, care resources, promotions, product updates, or availability announcements.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Unsubscribing from marketing communication does not prevent YetiGex from sending necessary transactional or order-related communication.
13. Animal Welfare
YetiGex prioritizes animal welfare.
YetiGex may decline, delay, or cancel a sale if we believe an animal cannot be safely transferred, housed, shipped, or cared for.
Customers are responsible for providing appropriate housing, temperature, humidity, diet, monitoring, and veterinary care when needed.
YetiGex reserves the right to request setup information, photos, confirmation of supplies, or other information before completing a live animal transfer.
14. Local Laws & Restrictions
Customers are responsible for researching and following all local, state, and federal laws regarding reptile ownership.
YetiGex is not responsible for purchases made by customers who are unable to legally own, import, receive, or keep a reptile in their area.
15. Liability
YetiGex is not liable for injury, damage, escape, allergic reaction, improper handling, improper setup, misuse of products, failure to follow care instructions, or other issues that occur after an animal or product has been delivered, picked up, or transferred to the customer.
Customers accept responsibility for safe handling, proper care, and appropriate supervision of animals and products after receipt.
16. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All website content, photos, videos, graphics, text, care resources, branding, logos, and other materials are the property of YetiGex unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from YetiGex.
17. Privacy
Your personal information is never sold.
Customer information may be used to process orders, coordinate shipping or pickup, provide customer support, send order-related communication, improve services, and send optional marketing communication when permitted.

18. Updates to These Terms
YetiGex may update these Terms of Service at any time.
The updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of our website, services, or purchasing from YetiGex after updates are posted means you accept the updated terms.
